  • nonchalant: (adj.) feeling or apprearing naturally calm or relaxed.

Example: “Every morning, I am nonchalant at school because I am half asleep.”

  • inevitable: (adj.) certain to happen, unavoidable.

Example: “Once Kelsy tripped on the rock, her falling was inevitable.”

  • fathom: (verb.) understood after much thought.

Example: “Despite all he could, Lester could not fathom the lesson.

  • unfathomable: (adj.) not able to be understood.

Example: “Harry’s handwriting is unfathomable.”

  • feeble: (adj.) lacking physical strenght.

Example: “ The house was feeble and was gone after the storm.”

  • vigilant: (adj.) keeping careful watch for difficulties and/or danger.

Example: “The security guard remained vigilant at his post.”
